The Director, Research School of Management

This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding leader who will promote excellence in all of the School’s endeavours including research, education and engagement. The Director will consistently deliver agreed outcomes in line with the goals of the ANU and the College; foster effective stakeholder and alumni engagement; uphold a collegial culture; and ensure effective operational management of the School’s budget, including its academic, financial and staffing activities.

The Director is a member of the College Executive who reports to the Dean and works collegially with other members of the College Executive team, including the Research School Directors, Associate Deans and the General Manager.

Applications are encouraged from internationally recognised scholars in Management, Marketing, Business Information Systems or a discipline relevant to the Research School with proven credentials in strategic planning, management and supportive leadership in a high profile research environment.

Successful applicants will demonstrate outstanding stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, including the ability to generate philanthropic funding; and a demonstrated ability to enhance and maintain strong relationships with industry, develop policy and professional practice, and enhance the School’s national and international reputation and performance.
