DIRECTOR OF ACCREDITATIONS AND INSTITUTIONAL RESEARCH (M/F)

Under the direction of the Associate Dean Programs, the Director of Accreditation and Institutional Research is responsible for providing leadership, administrative expertise and oversight to the School's accreditation and institutional efforts.

Specifically, the Director of Accreditation and Institutional Research is responsible for directing and coordinating activities associated with all aspects of international accreditations (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA).

The Director of Accreditation and Institutional Research will also be responsible for activities required to respond to national and international surveys and rankings, and activities necessary for the collection, analysis and presentation of data required for supporting strategic decisions in the School’s development.

The Director of Accreditation and Institutional Research will work collaboratively with committees, administrators, deans, faculty, staff, and students to ensure the advancement of Kedge core themes and mission fulfillment.

The Director of accreditation & institutional research has the following duties and responsibilities (the list may be completed):

Manage the portfolio of Kedged BS domestic (in collaboration with the Associate Dean and his team) and international (self standing responsibility) accreditations and maintain Kedge at the highest level of recognition by accrediting agencies.

For this purpose he / she will be responsible for:

  • Providing administrative coordination and technical expertise to administration and staff with accreditation issues,
  • Being responsible for the preparation of self-evaluation reports, the gathering of supporting evidence,
  • Providing leadership on accreditation and continuous improvement efforts to meet international accreditation standards,
  • Assisting in making program improvements to meet expected standards of accreditation,
  • Monitoring changes to international accreditations standards, eligibility requirements, and policies that may impact School policies, procedures, processes and plans and update staff as appropriate.

Structure and implement the system of data collection within the school for accreditation, management and communication purposes with a rigorous and systematic approach to provide continuous improvement.

For this purpose, he / she will be responsible for:

  • Making recommendations on systematic, ongoing data collection and analysis processes that result in successful achievement of core theme objectives and mission fulfilment,
  • Providing data analysis intelligence both in terms of process and interpretation or uses,
  • Providing expertise, guidance, and support to faculty, staff, departments, programs, and the AOL committee to plan, implement, and use the assessment of student learning to improve teaching and learning, including but not limited to: using data to continuously improve students' educational experience, developing learning goals, aligning appropriate assessment methods with outcomes, and organizing faculty professional development opportunities,
  • Make by his action a key contribution to the improvement of Kedge’s student and learning experience,
  • Ensuring the availability of data at the right time and for the right persons.

Operationally manage the accreditation process and PRT visits.

For this purpose, he / she will be responsible for:

  • Managing logistics for the School's accreditation visits and provide assessment or research expertise to faculty and staff regarding methodology and effective practices related to assessment of program-level learning goals,
  • Coordinating and preparing all documents, web-based information, and self-evaluation reports related to international accreditations,
  • Coordinating and supporting faculty and staff meetings related to accreditation, assessment, program review, and other efforts.

Make key contributions to Kedge’s renown by piloting the process of domestic and international questionnaires for rankings.

For this purpose, he / she will be responsible for:

  • Providing intelligence to the interpretation of criteria and requirements to domestic and international enquiries,
  • Analyzing rankings to propose a continuous improvement strategy for the School’s positioning
  • Reviewing and approving the School’s responses to domestic and international rankings (School, programs),
  • Ensuring consistency and accuracy in responses across surveys.

Manage his / her team and contribute to:

  • Liaise with the Dean of faculty and academic departments, the registrar and all functional areas that may be involved in the facilitation and the realization his / her objectives,
  • Produce his / her inputs in a timely manner,
  • Assure that all operations of his office and responsibilities remain consistent with the applicable school’s policies and procedures,
  • Engage in constructive and permanent communication with accrediting agencies,
  • Reinforce the long-term influence of Kedge BS on accreditation requirements and criteria,
  • Participate in any process that may reinforce Kedge’s path towards excellence.

On top of the previous responsibilities the director will support to advancing the School’s strategic plan, and may perform other duties when assigned.

He/ she is a good team player with a positive and contributively attitude to the fulfilment of Kedge’s strategic objectives.

Person specifications

Previous experience and essential qualifications

  • Master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field with demonstrated expertise in data analysis. A mix of education and experience that demonstrates the candidate meets all competency requirements for this position,
  • Experience and demonstrated success in business schools international accreditation, preferably with AACSB, EQUIS and/or AMBA,
  • Experience in course, program, and/or school learning outcomes assessment, including developing objectives and timelines, common metrics, qualitative and quantitative methods, instruments for assessment, and/or tracking tools,
  • Organizational, planning, and project management skills with the ability to work effectively, accurately, and with minimum supervision to achieve goals and meet deadlines,
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, writing, and oral communication skills in French and in English and ability to work collaboratively with administration, staff and students. Demonstrable ability to produce attractive, effective and appropriate descriptions of School activities,
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively interact with faculty and staff; ability to resolve conflict and maintain diplomacy,

Job details:

  • The role will be based in Bordeaux, Marseille or Paris, requiring frequent travel,
  • Full-time professorial contract, with a 4-month probationary period,
  • Remuneration package in line with the successful candidate’s profile,
