The department of Marketing, Economics and Innovation in Kristiania University College invites applications for a Professor / Associate professor position in marketing. For this position, the department encourages applications from associate or full professors who have a distinguished record of research and teaching in any of the following areas: Marketing, consumer behavior, market communications, and / or branding.

The responsibilities of the position will include teaching a variety of lower- and upper-division undergraduate marketing courses and the option to teach courses for the established master in marketing management.

Other responsibilities will include mentoring students and faculty, participating in programmatic development in the department and/or college, and maintaining a high level of research productivity, as evidenced through a sustained level of scholarly publications and grant applications.

Candidates for this position should articulate how they would contribute to the department’s aspirations to develop a PhD programme and how they would help to shape such a program.  Candidates should have a clear vision for advancing the research mission of the college.

The successful candidate will receive dedicated time for research and a research budget in order maintain a high level of research productivity. He/she will be an experienced and dynamic individual who can work collaboratively with other departments and/or colleges.

Requirements include a Ph.D. in Marketing, a distinguished record of research and publication, and a demonstrated record of teaching.
