CALL FOR APPLICATIONS:

The School of Economics and Business at the University of Chile is seeking applications for a full-time academic faculty position for the Department of Business in the area of Finance. The position comprises both research and teaching activities and it is based in Santiago, Chile.

Specific requirements

  • A Ph.D. degree.

General Requirements:

  • High capacity and/or potential to teach in Undergraduate / Postgraduate programs. Experience teaching in an accredited and reputable university is preferred, alongside recognized credentials or awards for excellence in teaching in finance.
  • High capacity to develop scientific research and publish articles in high impact journals indexed in the Web of Science (ISI-WOS) in Finance.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Participation as a main researcher and/or co-researcher in grant projects is highly desirable.

Background Information required:

  • Curriculum Vitae clearly explaining academic degrees, publications, future research and teaching experience.
  • Cover letter (no more than 600 words).
  • A list of current publications which support the applicant’s credentials for this position.
  • Two letters of recommendation from established or renowned researchers in your area of expertise. Letters should be sent to applications@unegocios.cl indicating in the e-mail subject "Recommendation letter for (name of applicant)."
