The Regulations, Accreditations & Quality Management Team at the Dean’s Office of WHU invites applications for the full-time position of

National Accreditation Manager (f/m/d)

located at the WHU Campus Vallendar or Düsseldorf, with a start date of January 1, 2020 or later.

WHU is currently accredited by EQUIS, AACSB and FIBAA (German institutional accreditation). The Regulations, Accreditations & Quality Management Team operates in a central and strategically important position at the university: Among other things, it is responsible for the internal accreditation of WHU’s study programs and coordinates the external accreditations by the above institutions. In addition, it further develops the university-wide quality management system. As part of the Dean’s Office, the team is also involved in other strategically important fields of activity. Thus, substantial and exciting tasks await you as a member of a motivated and cooperative team.

Job Description

  • Internal accreditation of study programs: consulting with program management regarding internal and external accreditation requirements in cases of revisions and new study program concepts, assessing compliance with these requirements, and documenting internal accreditation processes
  • Continuing development of quality management tools
  • Supporting external accreditations: e.g. report compilation, assistance with peer review visits
  • Assisting with the Assurance of Learning process
  • Supporting further Dean’s Office projects

Job Qualifications

  • Academic degree with above-average results
  • Prior experience in quality management preferred, ideally at universities in the context of accreditations
  • High level of comprehensive and analytical competence
  • Very independent, structured, and accurate working methods
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • High social and intercultural competence, customer orientation, and resilience

This position is initially a one-year fixed-term contract with the potential to become extended or permanent.
