Salary: £41,526 - £49,553

The University of Edinburgh Business School is seeking to appoint a Lecturer within its Organisation Studies Group. We are seeking outstanding candidates with proven record of high quality teaching and research that will make a significant contribution to the teaching and research portfolio of the Group. Specifically, we are looking for candidates with the skills to deliver courses in the fields of Business Ethics, Organizational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, and/ or Employment Relations on the School’s programmes at the MBA, MSc, and Undergraduate level as well as on the Organisation Studies Group’s MScs in Human Resource Management and International Human Resource Management.

Responsibilities are set annually by the Head of Group in consultation with the members of staff in the group. They can be expected to range across the following categories:

  • Teach, supervise and assess at all levels
  • Supervise dissertations of UG, MSc and PhD students
  • Research to a high standard with identifiable outputs in terms of top journal publications and grant income
  • Undertake administrative duties as required by the Head of School and/or Head of Group
  • Play a significant part in engaging confidently and competently with practitioner and other non-academic communities
