Job Summary

The Campus Director provides both academic and administrative leadership to the Campus in the areas of academic curriculum development and instruction, facilities, human resource, administration, and financial management. The job also entails liaising with outside agencies, community organizations, and the main campus.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Campus Director possesses the overall responsibility for the smooth running of the campus which includes staff management, student welfare, and liaison with various stakeholders. The incumbent will be responsible for:

  • solving everyday problems and dealing with emergency situations
  • ensuring students’ welfare and maintaining discipline
  • providing leadership and direction in all aspects of administration of a university branch campus
  • establishing and implementing short- and long-range organizational goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operating procedures
  • monitoring and evaluating programmatic and operational effectiveness, and suggesting changes required for improvement
  • directing and supervising associate directors and senior managers on implementing branch campus rules regarding instructional programs, curriculum planning and development
  • overseeing administration of branch campus policies and procedures, facilities, programs, and student services
  • representing the university and the branch at various internal institutional divisions as well as external governmental agencies, media, state legislators/legislature, community/civic groups
  • communicating and interacting with prospective students and their parents, and the university alumni
  • creating and developing avenues of communication for all members of staff, faculty, and students
  • serving as a liaison between the Bahria campus and the main campus
  • developing and managing annual budgets for the organization and performing periodic cost and productivity analyses
  • planning, developing, and implementing strategies for generating resources and/or revenues for the organization
  • recommending and participating in the development of university policies and procedures

Minimum Education requirement

  • a PhD with at least 5 years of experience directly related to the specified duties and responsibilities

  • attested degree(s) from an accredited institution.
