Excelia group enrolls 3800 undergraduate and graduate students. It has 105 full-time faculty including 62 research active faculty members, and it has five schools (LR Business School, LR School of Tourism & Hospitality, LR Academy, LR Digital School et LR Executive Education) operating in two campuses: La Rochelle and Tours.

La Rochelle Business School (Excelia Group), founded in 1988, has become a major player in the French Grandes Ecoles in Management. It is accredited AACSB, EPAS (Programme Grande Ecole and Bachelor International), and TedQual (Tourism Management). As an educational establishment focused on research Excelia also has 3 transdisciplinary areas of research namely ‘Sustainable Development and CSR Management’, ‘Tourism Management’, and ‘Agility, Innovation and Digitalisation’.

Over the last years, the school has improved its position in the national rankings of French business schools as well as in the Financial Times (in this ranking, the Master in Management Program ranked in 2019 at the 66th place in the world, which constitutes a particularly strong progression by +32 places).

LR Business School’s mission is to provide undergraduate, graduate and executive business education, develop knowledge in business and management through research, disseminate results to the academic and professional communities, and to be a key contributor of the economic development of its region.

The marketing department invites applications for full-time assistant or associate professor. The successful candidate will be able to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in marketing main topics (with a strong knowledge in Strategic Marketing and International Marketing), conduct, publish top-quality research in peer-reviewed journals, and work effectively as part of a collaborative team. Candidates have to demonstrate research productivity, and they are expected to have a proven track record of teaching. Experience in the use of blended learning for teaching is considered as a plus.

The position requires a doctorate or PhD in management sciences (specialized in marketing) and a fluency in English and in French to be able to teach in both of these languages. The salary is commensurate with candidate´s experience and qualifications and it is in line with the system of remuneration at La Rochelle Business School. It includes incentives for research publications.
