IÉSEG School of Management - Lille Economics and Management (LEM, CNRS) invite applications for two temporary, fully funded Postdoctoral positions on its Paris campus.

The position will start in September 2021.
The postdoctoral researcher will join a small research team to conduct high-quality research. He (or she) is expected to collaborate with the team on research projects on sustainable supply chain management and remanufacturing. The main objective is to develop analytical models to support decision making in, e.g., green supply chain partner selection, recycling channel selection, remanufacturing, dynamic pricing, order admission in remanufacturing systems. To this end, the postdoctoral researcher will work under the supervision of Professors ZHANG Linda (Click here for profile) and MLINAR Tanja (Click here for profile) at IÉSEG School of Management.
QUALIFICATIONS
WORKING CONDITIONS
The selected applicant is expected to begin his (or her) assignment in September 2021. The appointment is for 12 months with possible 6 additional months. Gross salary will be competitive with other European research and academic institutions. The researcher will be based in Paris (on the site of IÉSEG School of Management).
The selected candidate will also be involved with some teaching activities at the Operations Management Department.
RESEARCH TEAM
The candidate is expected to conduct research and write papers on research projects with the other team members. In addition, the candidate will have the opportunities to exchange with an international network of scholars specializing in the areas of operations research/management.
ABOUT THE OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT
The Operations Management department consists of 9 full-time academic staff and 3 PhD students. Our staff teach and conduct research in the areas of Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Management, Project Management, Product Development and Revenue Management. Our diverse body of permanent professors have recently published articles in in top-tier refereed international journals, such as (among others), European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Production Research, and IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management.

The postdoctoral researcher will join a team led by Professor Aziza Laguecir to work on multiple ongoing and new research projects. These projects seek to conceptually and empirically expand the emergent academic understanding the role of management control systems in fraud, adopting qualitative sociological perspectives. The research includes a close examination of fraud, accounting and corporate scandals, and more broadly surveillance and misconduct. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to integrate an international research team and to engage in innovative research projects with high potential of publication in top international peer-reviewed journals.

RESEARCH TEAM
The candidate will be working directly with Professor Aziza Laguecir. She is associate editor of JPBAFM, and Comptabilité, Contrôle, Audit and she currently guest co-editor of a special issue of Critical Perspective on Accounting on Fraud and Scandals. Her work appears notably in Management Accounting Research, Organization Studies, Critical Perspectives on Accounting, Accounting, Auditing & Accountability Journal, Accounting Horizons, British Journal of Management, Journal of Management Development, International Studies in Management and Organization. The candidate will also could work with other management accounting and control faculty at IESEG and to engage with other prominent scholars in the Paris area. Besides, the candidate will have the opportunity to engage an international network of scholars specializing in the areas of management accounting and control and ethics and to engage in international scholarly network opportunities.
