Professor or Associate Professor of Finance

Estonian Business School, the oldest and largest private university in Estonia with campuses in Tallinn and Helsinki, is looking for ambitious, talented academics with a passion for teaching as well as research to join its Department of Economics and Finance.

PROFILE & POSITION

The successful candidate for professorship will be expected to undertake academic leadership in research within EBS and demonstrate leadership potential and skills in order to play a significantrole in research projects, including the development of skills and supervision of doctoral candidates and junior faculty. The professor will be expected to build and lead a research team around a key area of research in finance and publish in high quality, international journals. The candidate must have a broad international network and a proven track record in attracting research funding. The successful candidate for associate professor will be expected to conduct individual or collaborativeresearch projects leading to publication in high quality, international journals.

Aside from research, both roles will be expected to deliver challenging and innovative teaching at both undergraduate and graduate level, and to assist with the administration of EBS. Candidates with research and teaching interests in any area of finance are encouraged to apply.

Candidates are expected to have a PhD in Finance or Economics, academic publications and teaching experience at university level.
