Job Description

The Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM), an innovative international business school, based in Cyprus with campuses in Nicosia & Limassol, invites applications for the faculty position of Assistant or Associate or Full Professor in one or more of the fields of:

  • Marketing / Strategic Marketing/Digital Marketing
  • Computer Science/Information Technologies/Analytics/AI
  • Law/Business Law (Private/Public)
  • Operations & Supply Chain Management/Project Management
  • Innovation & Entrepreneurship
  • Economics

The appointments are for permanent full-time positions and contracts will be made up to three years in the first instance, starting in September 2021 or September 2022, with reviews of teaching and research at the end of each year.

The position will offer internationally competitive teaching loads; research resources and a university environment that fosters multidisciplinary collaboration and research productivity. The candidate will have the opportunity to participate in doctoral supervision as well as offer electives in the school’s MBA & MSc programmes in areas of the candidate’s research interests.


Applicants should hold a Ph.D.  from an accredited European or North American university with specialization in one or more of the above fields or related disciplines. All degree requirements must be complete at the commencement of the appointment. The degree must be from a Ph.D. program with a strong research focus. A strong track record in high-level research and superior teaching is required.  Excellent English language and communication skills are essential. We especially seek candidates with an international academic background to further enrich faculty diversity and international profile.

Applicants for junior positions must demonstrate clear potential and commitment to scholarly research; evidence of teaching excellence and course development; ability to combine research productivity with involvement in course development.

Applicants for senior positions must demonstrate a solid record of and commitment to scholarly research through publications in high-ranked international peer-reviewed journals; evidence of teaching excellence, course and curriculum development.

The successful applicant will be expected to publish scholarly research in high quality academic journals, demonstrate superior teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and advise bachelor, master students or supervise doctoral students.

Candidates are also expected to be actively involved in various processes at school, interaction with faculty members, attracting external research funding, contribution to school’s strategic planning and strategy execution, committee work and other services.
