Audencia Business School invites applications for a new SCM opening with research orientation.

Audencia Business School holds Triple AACSB EQUIS and AMBA accreditation and is one of the leading European and French business schools. Audencia offers a wide range of programmes, including BBA, Masters/MSc, MBA, Doctorate and Executive Education Programmes and employs 137 core faculty members from 29 countries.

Sustainable SCM at Audencia:

  • A core team of five permanent professors
  • Research themes include: sustainable sourcing and social procurement, purchasing innovation and digitalisation, skills for sustainable purchasing, supply chain risk, resilience and financing, supplier relationships and networks, circular supply chains and agri-foods, energy transition supply networks.
  • 1 Chair: The Axys chair focused on Purchasing and Digital Innovation.
  • The Sustainable SCM group is responsible for several specialized masters levels programmes and teach across a wide range of programmes.

Requirements:

The candidate for the position must:

  • Hold a PhD in SCM or related area.
  • Have an established (for Associate level) or promising (for Assistant level) record of high impact research publications in SCM-related fields.
  • Demonstrate excellent teaching skills at graduate, post-graduate and executive education levels.
  • Be able to teach in English language (French is a plus).
  • Be a great team player.
  • Be interested in collaborating with colleagues and applying for external funding.
  • For higher-level applications: Play an active part in International Academic Networks related to SCM.

Overview

The successful candidate will join Audencia’s Sustainable Supply Chain Management Group, under the Business & Society Department. We are particularly interested in applicants with expertise in:

  • Digital Operations/SCM
  • Logistics Management

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Designing, managing, and delivering courses in graduate, postgraduate, executive and research programmes in the field of SCM.
  • Carrying out and publishing high-quality research in international academic journals and student/practitioner printed or digital media.
  • Engaging with SCM faculty group and contributing to research life of the Department.

Our campuses (Atlantic and City Campus) are located in Nantes, a mid-sized city in western France serviced by an international airport and are 2 hours away from Paris by train.
