MISSIONS :

The Institut Mines-Télécom Business School (IMT-BS) is recruiting a full-time Assistant Professor in Marketing to join its faculty. The Institut Mines-Télécom is open to all suitable candidates in the marketing discipline, in synergy with its missions and values. Candidates will have teaching and research experience in digital marketing. Specialisation in social marketing, sustainable marketing, data-driven marketing, data analysis or artificial intelligence applied to marketing will be particularly appreciated.

Within the framework of the school's values, mission and strategy, and in the field of marketing :

  • Participate in the design, coordination and implementation of courses in French and English, in initial and continuing higher education
  • Conduct research activities in your discipline
  • Lead, promote and contribute to the influence of the research and development activities and expertise of team members, in his or her discipline
  • Contribute to school life and the implementation of the school’s strategic plan
  • Contribute to the school's reputation

ACTIVITIES :

1. Teaching

1.1. Educational activities

  • Design and teach courses and programmes in the field of activity, in French and English, and support students throughout their studies
  • Develop pedagogy towards any form of asynchronous or distance learning media in line with the school's strategy

1.2 Programme coordination

  • Design and coordinate initial training courses (UV, courses, modules, etc.) and continuing higher education courses (training courses, seminars, study days, etc.) in close collaboration with the training and education department
  • Participate in the recruitment of temporary staff, as part of the policy of developing the qualifications of the Institut Mines-Télécom Business School’s teaching staff

2. Research

In line with the missions of the Institut Mines-Télécom Business School (digital, energy and ecological, economic and industrial transition) and within the laboratory, LITEM (EA 7363) shared with the University Evry Val-d'Essonne - UEVE :

  • Develop personal research and participate in collective research in marketing
  • Publish articles in media referenced by the Institut Mines-Télécom Business School, including articles in A- and B-rank journals
  • Supervising student work and dissertations
  • Participate in research or expertise projects and collaborate on R&D proposals
  • Follow the scientific policy of the Institut Mines-Télécom and the School in its field of competence and contribute through his or her research to the School's key themes.
  • Ensure the national and international impact of his or her research activities among the academic community and the general public

3. Services

  • Participate in the life of the department: team meetings, internal working groups, etc.
  • Contribute to School life : representation at events - in France and abroad, participation in the recruitment of faculty, student selection interviews, etc.
  • Participate in internal working groups and projects related to the implementation of the School's strategy
  • Participate in relations with the School's stakeholders: companies, alumni, local authorities, IMT and its schools, Evryen site partners, etc.
  • Contribute to the deployment of the international strategy, including during travel abroad

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS :

Level of qualification and achievement required :

  • Doctorate (PhD) in Management Sciences (Marketing)
  • Significant and recent publications in marketing in journals ranked at national level (HCERES, CNRS and FNEGE lists) and/or international level (ABS - Chartered Association of Business Schools list). Of which at least 2 in the last 4 years

Skills, knowledge and experience required :

  • Significant teaching and research experience in a university or industrial laboratory
  • Fluency in written and spoken English. Willingness to teach in English and French
  • Research and/or industry expertise in digital marketing
  • Good integration into the research community
  • Knowledge of the scientific issues of the discipline at national and international level
  • Ability and motivation to integrate sustainable development, CSR and ethical issues into teaching and research activities
  • Experience or interest in conducting and/or participating in innovative educational projects (multimodal teaching, flipped classrooms, serious games, MOOCs etc.)
