Summary of Job Purpose and Principal Duties
We are seeking an exceptional candidate to enhance the excellence in teaching and research in accounting or finance with an interest in teaching and researching information systems, fintech or data analytics within the School of Business. The successful candidate would be expected to take an active role in the teaching of our successful Bachelor of Accountancy programmes as well as support our MSc teaching, which includes an MSc in Accounting & Finance, and any new programmes we will develop in the field. In addition to teaching and administrative duties the successful candidate will undertake excellent research with demonstrable impact. Pursuit of external grant funding and regularly publishing research papers in top ranked journals are essential along with a strategy for knowledge exchange.
