PhD Positions in Management Engineering, Politecnico di Milano

Politecnico di Milano School of Management (SoM) is seeking candidates for PhD positions in Management Engineering. The PhD Program in Management Engineering (DRIG) is a full-time (3 years) curriculum of study and research at the crossroad of management, economics, and industrial engineering.

SoM has a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and research. The DRIG PhD trains students for high-level academic and practical research. The employment rate of DRIG PhD graduates is strikingly high (approximately 95%). Many DRIG PhD graduates, who chose to pursue an academic career, are now professors in high-ranked universities; those, who instead decided to work in the private sector, have achieved prestigious positions and earn high wages.

DRIG PhDs students create their personal study plan and attend courses, which expose them to diverse theories and methods. While preparing their PhD thesis under the guidance of their supervisors, DRIG PhDs students are encouraged to combine diverse perspectives, to span disciplinary boundaries and, more generally, to think out of the box.
