Positions in Organizational theory, Behaviour and/or Leadership: Assistant /Associate Professors

The School of Management at the University of Los Andes (Bogotá, Colombia) seeks applications to fill one or two full-time positions at the assistant or associate professor level in the Organizations Area of the School. This call will prioritize candidates with research and teaching experience in the fields of organisation theory, behaviour and/or leadership. Preference will be given to faculty with a strong commitment to research in the fields above, demonstrated by a record of publication in high-quality peer-reviewed journals; willingness to provide institutional commitment or service within the Faculty and externally; and engagement in the design, delivery, and assessment of courses taught at the undergraduate and graduate level.

We are interested in candidates with:

  • A PhD - completed or near completion in the field of organization theory, management, social sciences, or related fields.
  • A desire and aptitude to contribute to a successful and fast-growing educational and research establishment.
  • Track record of research and publication in international peer-reviewed journals (or demonstrate potential to develop this, for junior candidates)
  • An ability to contribute to different undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs

Aspiring junior researchers must have earned a PhD degree, or near completion of their PhD. We are also open to successful mid-career candidates who could qualify for the level of Associate Professor.

The level of compensation is competitive within Colombia and will be determined based on education and experience following University guidelines. Detailed information will be provided once the candidate is offered a position.
