International Accreditations Manager

The School

Founded in 1897 and member of the prestigious French Conference des Grandes Ecoles, Montpellier Business School has triple crown international accreditations (AACSB, EFMD-EQUIS and AMBA).

MBS offers Bachelor, Master’s and MSc programs as well as Executive MBA and DBA programs. Our degree programs enroll approximately 4,000 students each year.

MBS is increasingly well-recognized in both French and international business school rankings. For example, its flagship Master’s program has been ranked 59th or better in the Financial Times Masters in Management Rankings for three years. It is ranked 12th on average in French national rankings. The quality of MBS research has been recognized in national business school rankings resulting in a top 4 position with more than 50 rank 1 publications over the last 3 years.

Job Description

Within the Academic Quality Department, the International Accreditations Manager is the main actor of the implementation of MBS’s international accreditation policy and lead the portfolio of accreditation or recertification projects by international evaluation agencies.

Thanks to his/her dynamism based on proven experience in another Higher Education institution (Business school or University), the future International Accreditation Manager will contribute to the to the school’s accreditation strategy, to the reinforcement of MBS core competencies, and beyond to the international growth and reputation of Montpellier Business School (triple crown accredited since 2020).


Interacting, internally, with all departments of the school and particularly the Faculty departments, the research department, programs departments and support services, and externally, with all stakeholders and particularly students, graduates and business partners and International accreditation agencies and mostly ACCSB, AMBA, EQUIS, your main missions will be :

Monitoring and implementation of international accreditation standards

  • To set up and maintain a documentary fund grouping all international accreditation standards.
  • Identify and communicate changes to standards to interested parties.
  • Organize and facilitate presentation and information sessions on accreditation processes
  • Produce all media and information materials on accreditation
  • Organize processes for verification and compliance of programs with accreditation standards
  • Lead the implementation of indicators of compliance with accreditation standards, their dissemination and the handling of discrepancies.

Management of accreditation processes

  • Ensure a link of expertise between the Faculty, Research, Programs and DQA Directorate in order to establish synergies between the different directorates  Establish and maintain an overall summary statement of accreditation deadlines.
  • Lead the implementation and optimization of action plans and forward schedules for each accreditation.
  • Lead the organization of accreditation visits and audits
  • Ensure administrative and relational approaches related to audits
  • Conduct a review of each visit and audit and propose areas for improvement

Production of Accreditation Records

  • Lead the collection of the necessary quantitative and qualitative data
  • Mobilize contributors in a project team dedicated to each accreditation process
  • Write self-assessment reports and any documentation required for the assessment
  • Ensure compliance and quality of accreditation files.

Travel International (15% of the time)

Profile expected

Experiences and prerequisites

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the field of international accreditations / academic quality evaluation standards of Higher Education acquired in Business Schools, Universities or Accreditations Agencies
  • Minimum Master’s degree/Bac+5 – a doctorate would be a plus
  • Experience in Teaching and Research would be an asset
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in international context
  • Excellent oral and written English and French languages skills
  • Mastery of office package tools and Excel in particular
