The study options include bachelor programs in business administration, accounting and auditing, as well as business law. The school also offers a master's degree in business administration, accounting and auditing, an Executive MBA program, and a PhD program. The Centre for Innovation Research is also a part of the business school.

Associate Professor in Strategy

The University of Stavanger invites applications for a full-time tenured faculty position in strategy at the University of Stavanger Business School. We are offering excellent conditions (including generous research support and very low teaching load).

Applicants must possess a doctoral degree in strategy or related field. All applicants must have a strong research background and have the desire and ability to conduct high quality research. Candidates must have a proven track record of research published in top-tier strategy journals and be able to document relevant teaching experience and proof of excellent performance (e.g., student evaluations).

The position serves to strengthen research and teaching at the University of Stavanger Business School, and the position provide opportunities for further promotion to Full Professorship.

The position is full-time, where the responsibilities include research and teaching in strategy, student supervision, as well as school and university service appropriate to the rank. The University of Stavanger emphasizes excellence in teaching, and all new faculty members are provided with the guidance and training within the first year of employment. Applicants must demonstrate good command of both oral and written English.
