Assistant or Associate Professor in Marketing at ESSCA

Founded in 1909, ESSCA is an internationally accredited business school (AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS) located on 8 campuses: Angers, Aix-en-Provence, Bordeaux, Budapest, Lyon, Paris, Shanghai, and Strasbourg from 2022. The school offers a wide range of programs including the Bachelor in International Management, the integrated Master in Management, several Masters of Science, a part-time Executive MBA, as well as open and tailor-made Executive programs.

ESSCA’s Marketing and Retailing (MART) department is seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor in Marketing for its Lyon Campus. The main research areas of the department include (but are not limited to):

  • Leading Sustainable and Ethical Marketing,
  • Reshaping the Retailing Experience,
  • Understanding Consumer Journey and Shopping Behaviours,
  • Strategizing and implementing Digital Innovation etc.

Candidates must hold a PhD in the field of Marketing, have a proven experience in higher education, be fluent in French and be able to teach in English to a variety of audiences (undergraduates, graduates, and Executives).

Candidates must have a high potential or a significant record of academic publications in peer-reviewed journals, preferably in areas consistent with the specializations of current faculty. He/she must be a team player with good communication skills.
