Founded in 1909, ESSCA is an internationally accredited business school (AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS) located on 8 campuses: Angers, Aix-en-Provence, Bordeaux, Budapest, Lyon, Paris, Shanghai, and Strasbourg from 2022. The school offers a wide range of programs including the Bachelor in International Management, the integrated Master in Management, several Masters of Science, a part-time Executive MBA, as well as open and tailor-made Executive programs.

ESSCA’s Strategy, Entrepreneurship, and International Business (SEIB) department is seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor in Strategy for its Lyon Campus.

Candidates must hold a PhD in the field of Strategy, have a proven experience in higher education, and be able to teach in English to a variety of audiences (undergraduates, graduates, and Executives). The successful candidate will be part of the teaching team of the Bachelor in International Management, and the Master in Consulting. Prior consulting experience would be an advantage.

Candidates must have a high potential or a significant record of academic publications in peer-reviewed journals, preferably in areas consistent with the specializations of current faculty. He/she must be a team player with good communication skills.

Fluency in English is required. Speaking French is not a requirement, but a working knowledge of French will be useful for day-to-day activities on and off campus. As such, French language support is offered for non-French speakers.
