Founded in 1909, ESSCA is an internationally accredited business school (AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS) located on 8 campuses: Angers, Aix-en-Provence, Bordeaux, Budapest, Lyon, Paris, Shanghai, and Strasbourg from 2022. In line with the recruitment campaign of ESSCA (www.essca.fr), the Finance, Accounting & Management Control (FAMC) department open position for :

Assistant or Associate Professor in Quantitative Finance, located in Aix-en-Provence (Campus d’Aix-en-Provence)

The FAMC department includes 30 permanent faculty. Their output hass been disseminated though conference papers and publication in top-ranking scientific journals (Journal of Financial Markets, Journal of International Money and Finance, Journal of Business Ethics, European Journal of Operational Research, etc.). In addition, the research enriches the school’s Master programmes, in particular the Master in Banking and Financial Engineering, the Master in Finance and Risk, and the Master in Corporate Finance.

The candidate should hold a PhD in the field of Finance, a significant record of academic publications in peer reviewed journals (CNRS, FNEGE, ABS), should have a proven record of teaching and an innovative, managerially-relevant research agenda. She/he should have an excellent teaching ability and be fluent in English. Prior corporate experience will be highly appreciated.

Teaching profile: Econometrics, Financial Market, Risk Management.

Research profile: Risk Management, Sustainable Finance, CSR.
