IPADE Business School seeks candidates for full-time professors in decision analysis, operations management, accounting and control, economics, marketing and organizational behavior.

Successful candidates should have outstanding records in PhD or DBA programs. The candidates should have a strong interest in teaching and in doing research influencing both practitioners and academics. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and a clear vocation for academia. The candidates should be able to teach in English and ideally in Spanish in graduate and executive programs.

Given that the primary teaching method used at IPADE is the case method, candidates should feel comfortable with it while having the ability to use other teaching techniques such as simulations, workshops, and other hands-on and practical exercises.

Responsibilities:

• Teaching: Teaching assigned courses in our graduate-level programs (full-time and executive MBA) and executive programs on our three campuses (Mexico City, Monterrey and Guadalajara) and other temporary locations throughout Mexico and Latin America.
• Research: Conducting high-quality research aimed at peer-reviewed research journals and publishing cases and articles in general circulation and specialized periodicals. Participate in specialized global conferences and forums.
• Administrative responsibility: According to the institute´s needs and priorities. Participating in faculty and academic department meetings and initiatives.

Requirements:

• PhD or DBA in respective fields or related fields. Candidates who do not have the degree yet but are expected to complete the degree shortly are also encouraged to apply.
• A strong commitment to high-quality teaching.
• Excellent communication skills.
• An aptitude for research, as demonstrated by publications.
• English and Spanish proficiency.
• Disposition to teach using the case method.
• Spirit of service and teamwork.
• Willingness to live in Mexico City.
