Profile and professional experience:

  • Ph.D. in business related discipline, alternatively a Master of Business Administration or equivalent degree with significant industry experience
  • Several years of managerial experience in the field of education at Master level or business
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and impact in an academic setting
  • Autonomous, pragmatic and entrepreneurial
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and fluency in spoken and written English
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multicultural teams and in an international environment
  • Experience with and understanding of use of technology in education support teaching and learning
  • Highly develop interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
As MSc Program Director in Hospitality, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, your main missions will be to:
  • Design, develop and deliver the Master Program and content in accordance with the overall GIHE group strategy and portfolio (credits, course descriptions, delivery methods, assignments, field trips, business research projects, etc.)
  • Provide educational guidelines to internal Faculty and Visiting Lecturers; monitor the quality of the teaching and learning environment of the program (Moodle); lead the progression panel; manage continuous improvement of the program by gathering feedback, working on an action plan and analyzing teachers’ evaluations in liaise with the Associate Dean of Master Programs
  • Create and build a strong and valuable business ecosystem around the master: seek actively and select visiting lecturers, look for and manage business networking partnerships
  • Actively participate in the program's accreditations
  • Define budget needs and requirements to deliver the program
  • Promote the program with promotional videos, interviews, school's presentations, participation to conferences, production of articles; contribute to the content and co-validate the brochures with the Marketing Team
  • Provide support to students: interview prospective students; act as role model and mentor; manage groups of students during on and off campus activities; define and participate to the content of the induction week with the Program Coordinator; provide regular debriefings with students in collaboration with the team; connect students with the Alumni network; support students looking for internship when requested
  • When in the director's area of expertise, teach courses (including field trips, business research project) for the program and/or grade students reports (internship report, BRP)
