Full Professor or Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Finance

Job description: The successful candidate is expected to take teaching and administrative responsibilities at different levels at the Faculty of Economics and Business (Bachelor in Economics and Business, Master in Finance). The teaching commitment amounts to 7 periods of 45 minutes per week (4 periods of 45 minutes per week for the assistant professor) each semester. He/ she will also supervise Master’s and PhD theses and will conduct research in finance. Good knowledge in empirical asset pricing is necessary. An interest in sustainable finance or behavioral finance or fintech will be an advantage.

Requirements: Applicants must hold a PhD in finance or in a closely related field, show solid competence in both teaching and research, and have a record of publications in leading academic journals. Courses will be taught in French and English. Non-French speakers are expected to teach in French after a two-year period.

Starting date: August 1st, 2023 or upon agreement.
