CYBERSECURITY ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
Permanent contract, full-time, as soon as possible, in the Faculty of management, economy and science
Context
The Faculty of Management, Economy, and Science (FGES) is recruiting a permanent cybersecurity associate professor to be filled as soon as possible.
FGES offers 10 bachelor degrees, 13 masters and professional degrees in science, management, accounting and economy, and double degree preparation classes. It welcomes 2400 students each year. Student support (active pedagogy, student life programs, personal development and professionalization) and internationalization are part of the wider mission of the University to train professionals capable of adapting, innovating, and becoming active and responsible citizens. The dissemination of scientific culture and openness to socio-economic circles are also a priority through teaching, research and studies. The FGES research unit Smart and Sustainable Cities is a multidisciplinary unit with four main axes: Challenges of energy efficiency, Organization and extra-financial criteria, Digital transition and Sustainable city and biodiversity. It includes about thirty members.
The Catholic University of Lille, with its 40,000 students, is a multidisciplinary university with five Faculties (Law; Letters and Human Sciences; Medicine and Midwifery; Management, Economics & Sciences; Theology), 20 Schools and Institutes including medical schools and paramedical, social, tertiary executives, a Hospital Group, and in all, nearly 50 research teams bringing together 650 associates.
The candidate will be able to conduct their own research while participating in the development of the FGES research unit. The candidate must hold a doctorate in computer science. A research activity related to cybersecurity is desired.
He/She will integrate the digital transition axis. Teaching experience will be particularly appreciated. He or she will provide undergraduate and masters courses. The successful candidate must demonstrate solid research experience (with at least two publications over the past four years).

Research:
The candidate must be able to collaborate through existing projects on Smart and Sustainable Cities in the short term. The successful candidate will be invited to integrate the digital transition axis and develop research in collaboration with the members of this axis, and/or in interdisciplinarity, with the other members of the research unit. The prioritized research domains, without being limited to, are cybersecurity, IoT, networks, machine learning.
