The IS group is committed to increase the number of women in scientific positions. Female candidates are therefore encouraged to apply.

The IDS department proposes a wide range of electives, and regularly updates its course catalogue to reflect the evolutions of the field.

ESSEC's teaching and business languages are English and French. Prior knowledge of French is not required and the school provides French courses to non-French speaking faculty. There is no requirement for international faculty to teach in French.
