Assistant/Associate Professor (Tenure Track) in Business Analytics and Assistant/Associate Professor (Tenure Track) Marketing, LUT's Lahti Campus

The LUT School of Business and Management (LBM) is a strong research unit of about 20

professors and altogether 100 researchers. Our mission is to educate research-based problem solvers in the field of business. In our 2020 vision, we are internationally recognised for our impact on sustainable value creation – enabled by new technologies and entrepreneurial spirit.

Now we are looking for a professor in Business Analytics and a professor in Marketing.

The positions is situated at the assistant/associate professor levels of the tenure track system and will be filled for a fixed term of four years. The vacancies are located in LUT Lahti campus.

Business Analytics

The duties related to the vacancy will include basic and advanced education in the areas of business analytics and knowledge management. Thus, we are seeking a person with a cross-disciplinary research profile. The candidate is expected to present strong research merits and to show a proof of successful research projects and international research collaboration.

Marketing

The field of the professorship, marketing, may include the following areas: 1) Consumer behaviour, and 2) Organizational buying behaviour. In addition, we value complementing expertise in quantitative and experimental research methods, and digitalization.

The vacant professorship reinforces LBM’s education and research in digitalisation and marketing. LBM has the EPAS accredited Master’s Programme in International Marketing Management (MIMM), to which the assistant/associate professor of marketing is expected to contribute significantly. The ones most closely connected to the position are the professorships in digital marketing and business analytics
