Director Business Development for The Academy

About Us:

The Academy is a purpose built project, recognized for its learner centered classroom settings embedded in a modern learning backdrop following Cambridge curriculum for early years up till A-Levels. The school has more 19 branches accommodating more than 8000 students across Sindh, Pakistan.

General Summary:

Responsible for the growth of both organizational revenue and education network. Position’s responsibilities are aligned with the development and implementation of Marketing Strategies and its evaluation. Integral components of the job includes Market Analysis, Marketing Communications, Public Relations, Events, Exhibitions and Recruitment Visits. Incumbent has to get work done effectively with and through people to ensure harmonious flow of work without any divergence.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. To develop and implement a growth strategy and tactical business development plan that ensures attraction, recruitment and retention of students.
  2. To ensure that school has an outreach programme that widens the school’s network
  3. To plan and implement sound cost-effective marketing strategies that generate a high return on investment.
  4. To build creative and mutually beneficial relationships that positively impact on strategic and tactical business development
  5. To monitor and analyze market trends.
  6. To explore ways and opportunities to optimize organization’s value.
  7. To prepare and manage marketing plans and budgets.
  8. To identify target markets and develop strategies to effectively communicate with them.
  9. To Build trust, value others, drive execution, foster innovation, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.

Education, Experience & Skills Required:

  1. A Master’s Degree in relevant field.
  2. 5-10 years’ experience in a Business Development role with demonstratedsuccess.
  3. Strong customer service experience
  4. Ability to execute collaborative management style.
  5. Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable to different tasks at hand
  6. Ability to manage workload and work on tight deadlines.
  7. Excellent interpersonal and intrapersonal skills.
