Tenure-Track Positions in Strategic Management at the Assistant or Associate Professor Level.

The Universidad de los Andes School of Management (UASM) seeks applications to fill one or two full-time faculty positions at the assistant or associate levels in the fields of strategic management, international business, innovation management, and entrepreneurship.

The School is AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA accredited, and it is recognized as one of the top schools of management in Latin America. Currently UASM has 75 full-time Faculty who are appointed to the areas of Management, Finance, Strategy, Marketing, Organizations and Sustainability and who belong to several research groups such as: corporate governance, social entrepreneurship, business history, environmental management and women in leadership positions.

Candidates are expected to make significant contributions to research and teaching strategy and related fields. Preference will be given to candidates with a record of publications in high-quality peer-reviewed journals and the desire to actively shape the development of a successful and fast-growing School of Management.

Aspiring junior researchers seeking a position as Assistant Professor must have earned a PhD degree (or be near completion) in the fields stated above (or closely related) and have demonstrated their potential to publish in high-quality peer reviewed journals.   2. A curriculum vitae, including contact information for three academic references. Referees will not be contacted until the final candidates have been shortlisted.
  3. A teaching statement, including course evaluations (if available).
  4. A research statement.
  5. Copy of a representative paper or publication.
  6. Two letters of recommendation.
