Core Faculty Position in Marketing, EADA

EADA Business School is seeking to appoint a faculty member in Marketing, at the Assistant, Associate or Full professor level. The candidate must have completed a Ph.D. and have relevant experience as a marketing professional or as a consultant. Moreover, the candidate must have a track record of publishing in ABS 3 or ABS 4 management journals or show promise and trajectory to do so in the very near future.

The candidate would be joining EADA´s Department of Marketing, Operations and Supply. Led by Director, Desirée Knoppen, the department currently relies on 25 full and part-time faculty.  Researchers from this department have published their work in leading management journals including: Journal of Business Ethics, European Journal of Marketing, Journal of International Marketing, and Management Learning among others. EADA faculty have also published in other journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Management Studies and the Journal of Business Venturing.

While the focus on research at EADA has grown significantly in recent years, EADA is a teaching-led institution that believes in the need for Business Schools to be close to the needs of its programme participants and corporate clients. We do this by providing high quality, research-informed programmes, and by focussing on the development of managerial competences and skills necessary for leadership, teamwork and critical thinking.

Your teaching will be informed by your own discipline-based scholarship and, by your own practice and research. Candidates with a focus on digital marketing or retail, and a strong grounding in marketing strategy will have our preference. Successful candidates hold a Ph.D., demonstrate excellent teaching abilities, have strong research skills and have the potential to contribute to customized in-company programmes. Fluency in English is a must, and in Spanish an advantage. Experience in the use of the case methodology for teaching is considered a plus.
