Norwich Business School (NBS) is seeking a professorial appointment to extend its expertise and reputation for world-class research in International Business or Strategic Management or Entrepreneurship.

Applications are welcome from candidates with interests in all areas of International Business or Strategic Management or Entrepreneurship, including the Geography of International Business, MNE Knowledge Flows, Emerging Market MNEs, Hybrid Organisational Forms, Strategic Innovation Management, the Economic Sociology of Entrepreneurship, and Entrepreneurial Finance.

The successful candidate will join the Strategy and Entrepreneurship Group in the School.  The group has formed recently and has a strong international research profile and reputation for teaching excellence.  The group specialises in theory-led empirical research applied to a wide spectrum of problems often with an interdisciplinary and mixed-method approach.

The School is ambitious and wants to build on its growing reputation as a leading institution for business research, presently ranked in the UK Top 10 UK for the quality of its research output (ranked 9th in REF 2014) and World Top 150 for business and economics (Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2018 by subject).

The successful candidate will take an active lead in the development of research initiatives in their areas of expertise. They will provide academic leadership on research and teaching and provide direction for administration and enterprise and engagement initiatives. A track record and interest in attracting external funding, producing world-class publications and undertaking research directly relevant to business and the general public are essential.
