We are looking for a maternity leave replacement at the rank of

Lecturer in Economics (f/m/d)

Full-time (40 hours/week), starting date: September 2021

Key responsibilities:

  • Teach a minimum of 5 undergraduate and graduate courses/semester, with a focus on Micro- and Macroeconomics
  • Participate in departmental activities
  • Provide advice and assistance to students in areas of quantitative methods

The successful applicant is expected to have:

  • PhD (or actively engaged in a recognized PhD program) in Economics, Finance or related field
  • Rank-appropriate scholarly track record
  • Teaching excellence in English

As required by Austrian federal law we are obliged to disclose the minimum annual gross compensation for this position, which amounts to 39,000.- EUR (40 hours/week); negotiable on the basis of qualifications and experience. The applicant must have the legal right to work in Austria.
