We are looking to hire faculty in the following disciplines:

  1. Marketing Analytics
  2. Data Mining

Your key responsibilities may include:

  • Provide support which enhances the achievement of the Department’s strategic plan in research, teaching and external engagement
  • Teach programs offered by the school at undergraduate, graduate and executive education level.
  • Produce high-quality research in journals of national and international standing including a contribution to the department’s research agenda
  • To take part in activities which enhance the profile and reputation of the discipline
  • Develop and maintain relationships with relevant research, community, industry, government and professional partners to establish collaborations and industry partnerships

1. Marketing Analytics (Lecturer /Adjunct Faculty/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor):

Teaching, work experience and/or research interests related to Marketing Analytics, especially if the skillset covers one or more of the following: visual analytics, predictive modeling applications to marketing, statistical and machine learning algorithms (e.g. market basket analysis, cluster analysis, principle component analysis), R, Python, web analytics, social media analytics, social network analytics, social media/unstructured data mining, etc.

Education & Teaching Experience:

  • Must have a Master’s degree (18-years education) with a BS or field experience demonstrating breadth of skillset.  For example: MBA/MS Marketing Analytics with BS-level programming coverage; MS in Data Science/Analytics (CS-oriented) with BS having significant Marketing coverage.  Reputable world-class degrees will be prioritized.
  • Adjunct Faculty is a part-time position only for non-academic practitioners serving in Marketing Analytics designations.  Lecturer would be a full-time position.
  • Practical field experience in applications of such skills (such as consultancy or on-job assignments) will be highly valued
  1. Assistant Professor – 2-4 years (post PhD)
  2. Associate Professor – 7-10years (post PhD)
  3. Lecturer –  3-5 years of teaching experience (post Masters degree)
  4. Adjunct: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience

Research Experience & Expectations:

  • for Assistant and Associate Professor, publications in quality journals are mandatory
  • existing relationships and an ability to further enhance engagement with external bodies to enhance the national and international standing of the school

2. Data Mining (Adjunct Faculty):

Teaching, research and work interests related to data mining, especially for retrieval, organization and mining of big data. Ideal candidate’s should have skillset of one or more of the following: SQL, NoSQL, Apache Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Pig, ETL, Enterprise Data Lakes, etc.  The applicant needs to be expert in Python as the language of choice for teaching this course.

Education & Teaching Experience:

  • An MS or higher degree in Data Mining or CS with specialization in Data Mining demonstrating depth in the field and demonstrated industry/consulting experience.
  • Industry consulting experience is especially prized.

- Visiting Faculty: Minimum 2 years
