Positions in Management, Economics and Finance: Assistant / Associate Professors

The School of Economics and Business Administration at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali, in Colombia, invites applications for full-time faculty positions in international business, marketing, economics, and finance, at the Assistant and Associate Professor levels.

Javeriana faculty are expected to conduct meaningful research that leads to publications in internationally recognized journals, deliver high-quality teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, supervise undergraduate and graduate students, contribute to program and curriculum development, participate in shared governance instances, and strengthen our relationship with external stakeholders. Faculty are also expected to adhere to Universidad Javeriana’s Mission and our tradition of academic and human excellence and commitment to serve others.

Requirements

All candidates are required to submit evidence of:

• PhD degree within management, economics, finance, or related areas, from an internationally recognized and accredited institution.
• Record of publications in high-quality peer-reviewed journals or demonstrated potential for high quality research and intellectual contribution.
• Demonstrated competence or interest in research and teaching within management, international business, marketing, economics, and/or finance

Additional requirements for the Associate Professor positions include:

• Strong record of publications in high-quality peer-reviewed journals
• Teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate level

Preference will be given to candidates who, in addition to the previous requirements, submit evidence of:

• Fluency in English and Spanish
• Engagement in the design, delivery, and assessment of innovative programs or courses
• Experience with outreach activities and demonstrated ability to disseminate scientific knowledge within and outside academia
• Experience with project management and external funding
